Peter Breen
Peter Breen is one of North America’s premier restorers and builders of antique and classic wooden boats. As the founder of Peter Breen Antique & Classic Boat Co. Ltd. near Rockwood, Ontario, Peter has dedicated over 40 years to mastering the art of fine woodworking and historical preservation. With nearly 50 total forensic restorations and over 20 custom new builds bearing his name, Peter has saved more historic Muskoka-built hulls from impending demise than any other restorer in Canada. Known for his meticulous eye, expert use of traditional badger-hair brush varnishing, and a deep knowledge that spans from historic steam launches to World War I aircraft engine installations, Peter serves as the master guide and technical heart of Vintage Vessels.
